9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
In honor of those who died on September 11, 2001, the public is invited to attend a remembrance ceremony on Friday, September 11, 2015, 7:45 a.m. at Fire Station One located at 222 West Elm Street.
The ceremony will include a presentation of the American flag by the Fire Department Honor Guard, a ceremonial bell ringing, reading of the 9/11 timeline, and a prayer for those who died in the World Trade Center, Pentagon and on Flight 93.
Members of the Salina Fire Department encourage the public to join us and remember those who were lost. As firefighters, we have a special place in our hearts for the firefighters and other first responders doing their job that day. We honor and recognize their bravery and sacrifice.
